Ingredients
- 1 block of soft tofu
- 6-8 dumplings
- 4 cups of chicken stock or water
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- 1/2 onion, sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon of gochugaru (Korean chili flakes)
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a pot, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sliced onions, and sauté until onions become translucent.
- Add 1 tablespoon of gochugaru and 4 cups of chicken stock or water. Stir well.
- Add dumplings and simmer for 10-15 minutes or until the dumplings are cooked.
- Add 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, and stir well.
- Cut the block of soft tofu into 1-inch cubes and gently add in the soup.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot and garnish with chopped green onions.
